Plausible Jukebox provides a clone of Apple's Cover Flow™ user interface for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, using only public, documented APIs.
Plausible Jukebox is used in quite a few iPhone and iPad applications, including Comics by comiXology and our own Peeps, available through the iTunes App Store.
New in Version 2.0:
- Compatible with both iPad and iPhone
- Updated to use OpenGL ES library for improved rendering performance
- Allows for seamless transitions between 3D perspective view and new 2D flat view
- Cover edges are now smoothed out (no more jaggies!)
- Layout parameters and reflection settings are now configurable
- Translucent and partially transparent images are now handled correctly
The example version of the PLJukebox library is restricted to displaying only even numbered cover images, and may not be redistributed. This version of the library is provided solely for evaluation purposes and should not be included in commercial applications.
If you have any questions about using the PLJukebox example project, feel free to email us at support@plausiblelabs.com.
